Games come and go, but what about those that leave their mark on history? Goozernation takes a step back and looks at such games as Halo, Goldeneye, Shenmue, Call of Duty 4, as well as a few others and asks what made these games memorable and what are their legacies? Why are these games considered to be before their time?
Video Game violence doesn’t really seem to bother most mainstream gamers these days. Some games use the violence and gore as selling points, games like Postal, Dead Space 2, Mortal Kombat, and the Grand Theft Auto series are great examples. To some the Wii holds the reputation of being nothing more then a glorified Gamecube 1.5 with crummy online play. But to others the Wii has a lot to offer outside the shovelware. The Wii has a lot of AAA titles as well as having a great Virtual Console setup to enjoy the classics. It just seems the Wii has a little bit of everything for everyone, who knew the console would do so well this generation?
